Lead Teacher / Toddler co-ordinator

Ms. Elsa Cortez

Hello I am Elsa Cortez. I have been teaching Montessori for over 19 years. I have been with Casa Dei Bambini for over 10 years. I have been the Lead Toddler Teacher.

I have AMS certification for Toddler.

When I became interested in education it allowed me the opportunity to explore and experiment with children. They invited me into their world with the joy of learning and showed much love for me as a teacher. I will continue to receive adequate training that will allow me to continue the Montessori Method for teaching.

Lead Teacher

Ms. Kori Hall

I’m Kori Hall, and I am entering my first year as a Montessori teacher. However, I am a certified ESL teacher. I spent some time living and teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) abroad for five years, but the final two years teaching online due to the pandemic. I am still teaching young language learners online in my free time. I am also working on my certification and will fully become a certified Lead Montessori Infant/Toddler teacher in June 2023. I am excited to embark on this journey and work with your children. In addition to working in the classroom during the day, I am the aftercare teacher.
I became interested in Montessori while working in Shenzhen, China as a language teacher in one of their Montessori Kindergarten schools. I couldn’t understand the language that the local teachers spoke in the classrooms, but I understood the responsibility placed upon the children for their developmental learning. The children were engaged and happy with the work they were completing. I recall the teachers being guides or coaches, encouraging and demonstrating the work. This experience left an impression on me and has pushed me to enter the role of a Montessori Teacher. My goal for this year is to guide your children as they grow and develop into independent three-year-olds.

I enjoy traveling the world whenever I am free with my friends and family. But, if I can’t get away, then a trip to the beach will suit me just fine.
